Every Feature Built Around One Goal: Better Execution

Feral Tide combines continuous data analysis, algorithmic order handling, and a zero-fee cost structure into a single system. Below is a detailed look at how each part works and what it changes for you.

Tools Should Remove Friction, Not Add It

Most trading platforms treat "features" as a list of buttons: charts, alerts, order types. Feral Tide approaches it differently. Every capability exists to answer one of three questions continuously — what is the market doing, what should be done about it, and what will it cost to act.

That framing shapes the four feature groups described on this page: data analysis, algorithmic execution, fee structure, and account controls. None of them function as standalone add-ons; they are stages of a single pipeline.

"A feature is only useful if it changes a decision. Otherwise it's decoration."

Continuous Data Analysis

01

Multi-Source Ingestion

The system draws on order book data, trade volumes, and historical price behaviour across supported markets, updating its internal state continuously rather than on a fixed schedule. This is intended to reduce the lag between a market shift and a system response.

02

Pattern Recognition

Statistical and machine-learning models look for recurring structures in price and volume behaviour. The output is treated as probabilistic context, not a guaranteed forecast, and is weighted alongside other inputs before any action is considered.

03

Risk Filtering

Before analysis is allowed to influence execution, it passes through configurable risk filters — exposure limits, volatility thresholds, and position sizing rules — that you define. This keeps the analytical layer bounded by rules you control.

Algorithmic Execution

A

Rule-Based Order Placement

Orders are generated and placed according to predefined logic rather than manual, in-the-moment decisions. This is designed to reduce hesitation and emotional reversals during fast-moving conditions.

Benefit: consistent, repeatable decision logic

B

Adaptive Position Sizing

Trade size can scale with signal confidence and account risk settings, so a single unexpected move has a bounded effect on the overall position rather than an outsized one.

Benefit: controlled exposure per trade

C

Continuous Monitoring

Open positions are re-evaluated as new data arrives, rather than left unattended until a manual check-in. Exit logic can trigger independently of whether you are actively watching the screen.

Benefit: fewer missed exit windows

Zero-Fee Structure

Every trade executed through Feral Tide carries no platform trading fee. This is a structural feature, not a promotional one — it is built into how the execution engine is priced, so frequent, smaller adjustments are not penalised the way they are on fee-per-trade platforms.

In practice, this changes what the algorithmic layer is allowed to do. Strategies that rely on incremental position changes remain viable, because the cost of each individual action does not erode the outcome of the overall approach.

Account Controls You Define

None of the automated behaviour above runs unbounded. Every account sets its own exposure limits, maximum position size, and activation rules before the system is permitted to act. These controls can be adjusted at any time, and the algorithmic layer always operates inside them.

This is a deliberate design choice: automation handles continuous analysis and execution speed, while the account holder retains authority over how much risk any of it is allowed to take.

Pausing, resuming, or fully stopping algorithmic activity is a direct control available from the account dashboard, with no dependency on the analysis cycle finishing first.

Feature Glossary

Key terms used across Feral Tide

Signal
An output from the analysis layer indicating a potential market condition worth acting on, subject to risk filtering.
Risk Filter
A configurable rule set that blocks or scales execution based on exposure, volatility, or position limits you set.
Execution Engine
The component responsible for placing, adjusting, and closing orders according to algorithmic rules.
Zero-Fee Trade
Any trade executed on the platform that does not carry a platform-level trading fee, regardless of size or frequency.
